Beulah Rudsell, 95, Illinois City, passed Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Rosewood Care Center, Moline. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Burial will be in the Illinois City Cemetery. Following the burial, luncheon will be held at the Illinois City Hall. Visitation will be Friday, July 20, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Beulah’s name. Beulah Mae Danner was born April 6, 1923, Rock Island County, daughter of Harry W. and Verda M. (Thomas) Danner. She graduated from Reynolds High School. On February 2, 1944, Beulah married Melvin O Fuller in Muscatine. Following Melvin’s passing, she married Fremont A. Rudsell on March 29, 1990, in Muscatine. She worked at Pamida, Mike’s Grocery in Illinois City and was a homemaker. Beulah was a member of the Illinois City Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing, flowers, embroidering, making crazy quilts, word searches, bingo and bunco.

Beulah will be missed by her children, Clarice (Charles) Johnson of Muscatine, Marietta K. Bartley of Muscatine, Luann (Ernie) Kaffenberger of Muscatine, Rose (Willie) Sundstrom of Colfax, WI and Verda (Michael) Nowling of Colorado Springs, CO; step-children, John Rudsell, Richard Rudsell, Larry Rudsell, Judy Washburn, Maxine Patterson, Sonja Brown, Billie Terrill, Nancy Allnut, Annie Rudsell, Rusty Rudsell and Rudy Rudsell; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and sister, Sara (Gary) Krueger of Illinois City.

Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; sons, Dennis and Wayne; step-children, Fremont Jr. and Donald; grandsons, Adam and Josh; granddaughter, Tiffany; sisters, Alice Carpenter and Beverly Hammann and brother, Elmer Danner.
