Amy Zybarth, Muscatine County Treasurer, is pleased to announce that the Treasurer’s office now accepts passport applications on behalf of the U.S. Department of State. U.S. citizens planning international travel may apply for their passports between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday, at the Treasurer’s office, located at 414 E 3rd Street.
The office invites applicants to make appointments to secure a particular time slot. This is a new process for the office and patience is appreciated while staff are learning. The recorder’s office can no longer accept passport applications, but they can still take passport photos for a $10 fee.
