Gary Carlson of Muscatine has been designated a “Friend of Agriculture” by the Iowa Farm Bureau Political Action Committee (PAC). Carlson is seeking re-election for the House District 91 seat that includes Muscatine County.
“Iowa’s economy has long relied on the strength and contribution of agriculture. Iowa’s greatest economic opportunities for today and tomorrow are dependent on the continued development, innovation, and productivity of Iowa’s many and varied agri-businesses,” stated Representative Carlson.
“Candidates earn the Friend of Agriculture designation by supporting issues that directly impact Iowa’s agricultural economy,” said Audubon County farmer and IFBF PAC Chair Randy Dreher. “With one in every five Iowans employed in agriculture and ag-related industries, it is essential to have strong advocates for agriculture representing Iowa.”
The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation is a grassroots, statewide organization dedicated to helping farm families prosper and improve their quality of life.
