* 18-year-old Levi Scott Logel was granted a deferred judgment and placed on supervised probation after pleading guilty to second-degree burglary. He will be required to successfully complete programming at the Residential Correctional Facility in Davenport.

That useless information you’re storing in your head may not be so useless after all. A trivia night is planned for Friday, March 8th, at Whispering Pines. It's a fundraiser for Muscatine Community College Alumni Association, and proceeds will pay for student activities and special projects at MCC. Doors open at 6 with the contest starting at 6:30. A cash bar is available, and you may bring your own snacks. Call Lisa at 288-6005 to reserve a table.

It started this month and continues most weekends through May 19th. Hundreds of women bowlers are coming to Muscatine for the Iowa Women's State Bowling Tournament at Plamor Lanes. Businesses have the red carpet out for the bowlers, who will travel, eat, stay and play in Muscatine.
