Have a prom dress you no longer need? Why not recycle it so someone else can get some use out of it?

Recycle the Dress for Prom 2012 was a big success. Ninety girls from the Muscatine County area went to prom in gorgeous dresses donated by generous people.

If you have a prom or a formal dress no longer needed, you can donate it to the 2013 program. Bring it to the Muscatine Recycling Center and Transfer Station, 1000 S. Houser St., from 9 to noon this Saturday the 19th.

Donations in good condition will be given to high school girls who are going to prom. Dresses will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis from 9 to noon on Saturday, February 9th, in the Upstairs Conference Room at the Muscatine Recycling Center.
