A Letts woman has been sentenced on a meth charge.
Sixty-one year old Shannon Lee Wroe was sentenced yesterday in Davenport federal court to five years in prison for conspiring to distribute methamphetamine.
Then she’ll be on two years supervised release.
Wroe agreed with others, including co-defendants Patricia Rae Parris and Angela Marie Ryan, to distribute methamphetamine from November 2008 through November 2011.
Wroe distributed quarter- to half-pound quantities of meth to Parris on multiple occasions over the course of the conspiracy. Parris and Ryan are awaiting sentencing.
The case was investigated by the Quad Cities Metropolitan Enforcement Group, and was prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa.
