A Muscatine man is pleading guilty to a sex crime.

Sixty-eight year old Warren Lovell pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of incest, a class D felony. That’s according to a news release by Muscatine County Attorney Alan Ostergren.

Lovell, formerly of M&W Trailer Court, pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl . Investigation conducted by the Muscatine County Sheriff's Department showed that Lovell had engaged in sex acts with her May through August of this year.

A class D felony carries a prison term of up to five years and a fine of up to $7,500.

Lovell will be sentenced at 9:15 Friday morning, January 11th.
