A local group will be offering memory screenings later this month.
The screenings are in acknowledgement of National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month.
Senior Resources will be offering the free, confidential memory screenings to the public from 8 to 4 on Thursday, November 29th at the Senior Resources offices, 1808 Mulberry Avenue.
Screenings are for individuals concerned about memory problems or who want to check their memory now and for future comparisons.
National Memory Screening is an annual initiative of the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
The organization emphasizes the importance of proper detection and treatment of memory problems and educates the public about successful aging and resources.
