Secretary of Ag in Muscatine Tuesday

Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Bill Northey will be in Muscatine Tuesday. It's all part of his effort to visit each of iowa's 99 counties again in 2010 and to meet with iowans and discuss agriculture and the issues facing farmers in the state. Northey will tour the Muscatine agriculture learning center at 4 o'clock on tuesday. He will also speak at the Henry County Corn and Soybean Association Meeting in Mt. Pleasant, visit the Fairfield Crop Fair, tour the Seimens Wind Power Facility in Fort Madison and address Des Moines and Louisa County FFA Chapters at the Mediapolis High School and then speak to the Des Moines and Louisa County Corn and Soybean Association in Wapello. Northey is in his first term as Secretary of Agriculture.
