The Annual Girls Getaway will take place in Historic Downtown Muscatine on Saturday, April 7 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event showcases the uniqueness of Downtown Muscatine.

The event kicks off at The Merrill Hotel and Conference Center with a brunch prepared by Executive Chef Stuart and a style show by The HallTree Boutique.

Some downtown businesses with activities planned include Creations By Oz, which will host a wine pairing with gourmet cupcakes by OzSome Treats; Fresh Vintage will offer hourly riddles; Rustic Pickin’s has a make-and-take project; The HallTree Boutique will host Spin the Wheel; The Wild Thing offers chair massages from 10 a.m. to 3: p.m.; Wester Drug has a pharmacist available; The Event Loft has a Selfie Station; and Sunrise River Gallery will hold freestyle mini painting. At the The Flower Gallery, Jen Summy, Lead Designer, will give a seminar on succulents.

Some Downtown businesses will be offering events on Friday night. The Merrill Hotel and Conference Center is offering a rate of $119.00 on Friday night (April 6th) for Girls Getaway attendees.
