Gilda’s Club is hosting a “Cancer and Diabetes: Managing a Dual Diagnosis” workshop for the community on Thursday, December 21, 2017, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church (401 Iowa Avenue) in the Gathering Room located on the 2nd floor. Please use the 4th Street entrance.


Grace Bowling, R.N., will help participants understand diabetes and its different types. Participants will also learn more about the cancer-diabetes connection and how to eat healthy for healing and recovery.


All attendees will be entered to win $25 certificate to Little Red Hen. Registration is required. The general public and anyone impacted by cancer (patients, survivors, caregivers, healthcare professionals, etc.) is welcome to attend this free-of-charge event.
