“I would like to thank the many members of the public who provided information to the police,” said Ostergren. “Tips came in rapidly after the Muscatine police put information on Facebook about the robbery. This is a great example of using social media in a positive way.”
WADDEN appeared before a judge this morning for initial appearance. The Court set his bond at $750,000 cash only. He remains in the Muscatine County Jail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 4, 2015, at 9:00 a.m.
The investigation into the robbery is ongoing. No further information will be released at this time. The criminal charge against WADDEN is merely an accusation. He is presumed innocent.
